JCW wants to be an instructional resource for you! There are several ways for your students to learn about the wastewater treatment process and its importance to the community.
Plant Tours
Plant tours are given at several of our treatment plant locations. You can choose the one that's nearest your school.
To schedule a tour, contact JCW's Director of Communications or call 913-715-8572. If you ask us ahead of time, we can prepare a slide at a plant's lab to view organisms under a microscope. We can also give you additional helpful information to prepare your students before the tour.
Speakers
JCW's staff members can visit your school to talk about topics such as wastewater treatment, protecting the environment and learning the wastewater treatment process.
Multimedia Instruction
A challenge facing teachers is to provide meaningful and fun instruction for their students. One way to effective meet this goal are for students to become involved in creating multimedia projects. JCW is here to help with such projects. We’ve even created an online gallery to display the final works of art. Please contact for more information.
